Internal diameter 31m N-S
Though marked on the 1841-42 OS map as a circular enclosure, it does not appear on the 1916 OS map. However, it is still traceable today. It has been slightly cut on its E side by a fieldbank running N-S. This boggy field is known locally as the fort field. What remains of the site today is a semi-circular area which is enclosed to the N, S and E by fieldbanks. A slight trace of an exterior fosse can be noticed to the NW through W to SW. The enclosing earthen bank is 1.2m high externally and .5m-.8m above the interior. Where visible, the fosse, which is wet, is 2.8m wide and .6m below the height of the surrounding land.
