The National Monuments Service's description
Situated SE of Ballykealy Castle (KE014-080----), this circular enclosure is marked on the 1842 and 1916 OS maps. However, today this site has been levelled, except for a small section of the S sector which has been incorporated into a fieldbank running E-W.
The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Dingle. Brandon in association with FAS Training and Employment Authority (1995), no. 453. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
