The National Monuments Service's description
A 'Cave' is marked on the OS 6-inch map (surveyed 1841) in a ringfort (KE014-059----): both are recorded on subsequent editions of the OS maps. It is likely that the 'Cave' may be a souterrain. (Toal 1995, no. 820)
