Internal diameter 28m N-S, 24m E-W
Lisheendonnell/Lisín Dónaill (little ringfort of Dónall - personal name) is situated in the SW corner of the Black Wood and NE of the River Feale. This univallate rath consists of a sub-circular area enclosed by a bank and an external fosse. The NW to W sector has been cut slightly by a field drain. The enclosing earthen bank is 5m wide and rises to a height of 1.8m above the fosse and 1m above the interior. The U-shaped external fosse can be traced for most of the site, where it is 1m-1.6m wide and .6m deep; it cannot be traced NW to W due to a modern drain.
