The National Monuments Service's description
Internal diameter 35.2m N-S, 30.8m E-W
Situated in the corner of a field, this univallate rath has been incorporated into fieldbanks to the S and E. These, and a drain dug along the S side, have distorted the rath somewhat. This sub-circular area is enclosed by an earthen bank which is very low and wide, especially N through W to SW; it is c 8m wide and c .5m high. There are two main gaps at the NE and SW, measuring 4m and 1m respectively.
The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Dingle. Brandon in association with FAS Training and Employment Authority (1995), no. 376. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
