The National Monuments Service's description

Marked on the 1841-42 and 1915-16 OS maps as a circular enclosure, this univallate ringfort is the middle fort in a line of three, the others being the next two ringforts below. A slight trace of it can be seen on the Geological Survey of Ireland's aerial photographs (1977); however, it has been levelled and no surface trace survives.

The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Dingle. Brandon in association with FAS Training and Employment Authority (1995), no. 363. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
