The National Monuments Service's description
Situated NE of a rath (KE009-045001-), this site has extensive views in all direction. When visited in April 1987, two mounds of rubble existed in the field. These were originally chambers that had to be filled in due to their causing injury to animals. During April 1986 a third chamber was uncovered which was constructed of drystone walling. It is difficult to give detailed measurements due to the infill, but it would appear to have had a diameter of c. 4.5m and a depth of c. 3m. It has since been closed up, and no surface trace survives.
