The National Monuments Service's description

Internal diameter 42m N-S, 41.4m E-W
Situated in low-lying pastureland NE of KE009-041----, this univallate rath is touched at three points to the NW, E and SE by fieldbanks. The site consists of a circular area enclosed by a low earthen bank c5m wide and 1.6m high above the surrounding land and on average 1m above the interior. A slight trace of an external fosse is to be noted SE through E to ENE; it is 1.9m wide and .3m deep. The interior is at much the same level as the surrounding land, and access is gained by a 5m wide gap to the SE.

The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Dingle. Brandon in association with FAS Training and Employment Authority (1995), no. 369. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
