The National Monuments Service's description
This site appears on the 1841-42 and 1915-16 OS maps as a circular enclosure. On the later edition, however, it has been slightly cut on its S sector by a fieldbank. This site has been levelled for the last 20- 30 years, but it can still be picked up on the Geological Survey of Ireland aerial photographs (1974).
