The National Monuments Service's description
Situated immediately SE of Moneycashen village. This site is marked on the first edition map as a circular enclosure, on the later edition of 1915-16 only the SW to S to SE sectors of the enclosing bank are clearly marked, the remainder has been incorporated into fieldbanks. This site has been levelled.
The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Dingle. Brandon in association with FAS Training and Employment Authority (1995), no. 1039. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
