The National Monuments Service's description
This circular enclosure, which is marked on the 1842 OS map as 'Sheep Fold', does not appear on the later 1916 map. It is situated one field SSE of the 'Paddock' concentration of houses. It consists of a circular area enclosed by a low, wide earthen bank. The N sector of the enclosure is cut by a bohareen running in an E-W direction. In the SW sector of the enclosure is a rectangular enclosure, c 3m x 1.8m. This site has since been completely levelled.
