The National Monuments Service's description
Internal diameter 33m E-W
This site is situated at the top left-hand corner of a large pastoral field. A fieldbank cuts it in a roughly NE-SW direction. The area N of this fieldbank has been much levelled and only a tiny section of the enclosing bank survives. It measures 12m in length and 4m in width. On the S side it is much better preserved and consists of a semi-circular area enclosed by a well-defined earthen bank and exterior fosse. The enclosing bank measures .7m externally and .6m internally. The width of the fosse is 2m wide and .6m deep.
The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Dingle. Brandon in association with FAS Training and Employment Authority (1995), no. 262. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
