The National Monuments Service's description
A small stream running in a NNE-SSW direction cuts the western sector of this site, thus revealing some burnt stones. It is roughly horseshoe-shaped, measuring 6.1m E-W and 4m N-S. The landowner J. Walsh informed us that several years ago he had ploughed it into its present shape.
The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Dingle. Brandon in association with FAS Training and Employment Authority (1995), no. 41. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
