The National Monuments Service's description
This site is situated on low-lying boggy land. It is marked on the 1841-42 and 1914 OS maps. However on the later edition the S to W enclosing bank has been incorporated into a fieldbank. Today this site is inaccessible, so a true picture is difficult to obtain.
The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Dingle. Brandon in association with FAS Training and Employment Authority (1995), no. 1018. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
