Internal diameter 36m N-S, 30m E-W
This univallate rath is situated on a rise, and the view from this site is excellent in all directions. Immediately S lies Ballylongford Creek, which flows into Ballylongford or Moovoagh Bay. The enclosing earthen bank is best preserved to the W through N to E; elsewhere it appears as a rise above the surrounding land. The exterior height measures a maximum of 2.2m, and the internal 1.4m; the width of the bank at the base is 8m. A slight fosse is to be noted N through W to S. It measures 3m in width and c .4m below the height of the surrounding land. A fieldbank c 4m from the enclosing bank encircles the N to E area.
