This well does not appear on any edition of the OS maps and must be classed as only a possible holy well.
Situation and Description: This well is situated in the E sector of a rath (159), on the exterior side. It is a drystone lined, semi-circular trough. In front of this trough is a scattering of stones.
The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Dingle. Brandon in association with FAS Training and Employment Authority (1995), no. 916. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
