The National Monuments Service's description

This univallate rath is situated within the Faha concentration of ringforts; (KE001-037----) lies to the W while (KE001-039----) and (KE001-040----) lie to the NE. The earthen enclosing bank measures 1.4m externally, 1m internally and c5m in width. A fosse is evident for most of the site, except to the E where a fieldbank running in a NNW-SSE direction cuts through it. The fosse measures on average 1.5m in width and is .5m below the height of the surrounding land. Two gaps measuring c3m and c5m are located in the NNW and SSE sectors respectively.

The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Dingle. Brandon in association with FAS Training and Employment Authority (1995), no. 128. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
