The National Monuments Service's description
This site is situated NNW of Kilconly Church (926), and a small stream runs to the S of it. It is marked on the 1840-41 and 1914-15 OS maps as a circular enclosure. Though levelled, this site can be picked up on the Geological Survey of Ireland's aerial photographs (1974).
The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Dingle. Brandon in association with FAS Training and Employment Authority (1995), no. 1016. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
