The National Monuments Service's description

'Eccia de Glen....' is the first church listed under the deanery of Offerba in the Papal Taxation List (1302-7) for the diocese of Ardfert (Cal Docs Ire, V, 295) and it cannot now be identified. The name, illegible in the original manuscript, has been glossed as Glin north, a townland c. 4.5km N of Dingle (Royal Visitation). No church is recorded here however. It has alternatively been suggested that the site referred to is Killelton Oratory (KE037-025001-), c. 2.5km E of Camp, listed under the name of nearby Glenfais (Hickson 1886, 499).

The above description is derived from J. Cuppage (compiler) 'Corca Dhuibhne. Dingle Peninsula archaeological survey.' Ballyferriter. Oidhreacht Chorca Dhuibhne (1986), no. 993. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
