The National Monuments Service's description
Shown on the 1837 OS 6-inch map as 'Ballyraggan Ho. (in ruins)', and described by Garner and Craig as probably the remains of a seventeenth century house with a barn (FF 1976, 82). There are extensive foundations and some wall fragments still visible, including dressed limestone and red brick.
