The National Monuments Service's description
Identified during an aerial photographic survey by Dr. Gillian Barrett on 15 July 1991. Aerial photographs (GB91.DW.21 and 22) show the cropmark of a rectangular enclosure defined by a fosse and with an entrance facing SW, possibly a moated site. Also visible in a 1995 aerial photo (GB95.FS.26) (Barrett 2002, 1-30; ibib 2006, 69-95)
