The National Monuments Service's description
Indicated on the Down Survey (1655-6). Built by Pierce Fitzgerald and demolished by Cromwell (Anon. 1908, 269). No visible trace. On site of the ruins of Belan House which have also been levelled in the 1960s (SMR File).
