The National Monuments Service's description
Shown on OS 1909 6' sheet as large triangular enclosure (dims c. 80m x 60m) defined by a bank. Described in 1955 as a sub-rectangular enclosure with several entrances (Danaher 1955, no. 317). Aerial photograph (CUCAP BOC 77) shows cropmark of bank and fosse, with circular enclosure at centre. Possibly a ringfort with surrounding field system.
