The National Monuments Service's description
First recorded in July 1990 by Dr. Gillian Barrett in the course of an aerial photographic survey. Aerial photograph (GB90.BT.35) shows cropmark of a large oval enclosure defined by a fosse surrounding the plough-levelled ringfort (KD037-049----) Traces of internal subdivisions are also visible within the large enclosure. Also visible in a 1995 aerial photograph (GB95.FT.13). (Barrett 2002, 1-30: Fig.3; ibid 2006, 69-95: Plate 3.5)
