The National Monuments Service's description
The gatehouse to St Leger's castle and bawn (No. 37:11) which was levelled in 1971. It was described as being a miniature replica of the castle (JKAS 1891-3, 101).
Test-trenching (04E1021) of new house in vicinity produced no archaeology. 'Excavations 2004' 2007, No. 824, p.197.
