The National Monuments Service's description
In a modern farmyard. Although not recorded on any edition of the OS 6-inch maps, this location was identified by the Athy Cemeteries Committee (athycemeteriescommittee@hotmail.com) as being that of Russellstown church (KD035-100----) and graveyard. While no visible surface traces survive, a 19th-century graveslab found in St. Michael’s Cemetery (KD035-022015-), Athy, is believed to have originally stood in Russellstown graveyard (pers. comm. M. Donovan). A font (KD035-100002-), and two architectural fragments (KD035-100003-), presumably from the levelled church, survive at the site.
