The National Monuments Service's description
In a graveyard (KD032-005001-). In 1837, according to O’Conor (Herity 2002, 96 [30]) who co-compiled the OSL for County Kildare, ‘The old walls of a church, which is said to have been never roofed, stand in perfect condition … .’ The grass-covered foundations (int H 0.5m; Wth 3.4m; ext H 0.4m) of the W gable wall (traceable L 7.9m N-S) and the W end of the S wall (traceable L 5.4m) of a medieval church extend W from the W gable wall of a later, 19th-century church (int. 11m E-W; 5.95m N-S). While the later structure may incorporate some earlier fabric, the wall thicknesses (T 0.7m) are less than would be expected of a medieval wall.
