The National Monuments Service's description

In level tillage. Shown on a Map of Boleybeg (sic) in a 1773 Survey of the Manor of Fontstown, County Kildare by Scale (NLI 21 F.11) as a rectangular enclosure surrounded by trees and partially incorporated into a local field boundary. Possibly a moated site. No visible surface trace survives. Scale’s map records a second similar site (KD031-007----) some 1200m to the WSW.
