The National Monuments Service's description
In an extensive farmyard, in which large outbuildings have been erected. In 1837, according to O’Conor who co-compiled the OSL (Herity 2002, 70 [206]), ‘… in Cloney townland, is an old Castle, retaining its roof, and attached to it, a house, occupied by – Kelly.’ No visible surface trace survives. A church (KD030-003----) and graveyard (KD030-003001-) lie c. 75m to the S.
