The National Monuments Service's description
In level improved pasture. Recorded on the latest ed. (1939-40) of the OS 6-inch map as, ‘Slab-lined Cemetery (Site of)’. In 1972, there was no visible surface trace of the cemetery which, according to local information, was uncovered c. 1920 during gravel extraction at a low hill, and the area was subsequently levelled in the 1950’s (SMR file).
