The National Monuments Service's description

'In 1192, Inchierbrislane (Gilltown KD029-003----) and Brannockstown were granted with Yago (Gaganstown (KD029-013----) to St Patrick's Dublin (JKAS 1912-4, 336). Dedication to St Sylvester, companion of Palladius in Donard, may suggest early date founding (IHS 1941, - 39-40).
