A raised (H 1m), circular area is enclosed by a wide berm and fosse (diam. c. 15m), with traces of a possible outer bank (overall diam. c. 22m). Disturbed by military trenches at W and N. According to O'Riordáin (1950, 275: Site F; scaled section NE-SW Plate XXVII), 'Bones found in the material from this trench [a recent L-shaped cutting … west of centre] have been identified as human - fragments of femora of two individuals.'
