The National Monuments Service's description
On a S facing slope in tillage. Archaeologically excavated (together with a small cemetery (KD023-031----) c. 60m to the NW) in advance of the proposed construction of the Kilcullen Link Motorway Scheme (Keeley 1980, 180-201). A small penannular enclosure (diam. 8m) defined by a shallow U-shaped fosse (Wth 1.35m; D 0.36m) with an entrance (Wth 1.7m) at SW was discovered. A series of eight post holes curved around the outside of the entrance. Two extended inhumations of an adult and child, with their heads to the W, lay at the centre.
