The National Monuments Service's description
Lies between the Gibbet Rath (KD023-042----) to the W and the Curragh Military Camp to the E. Another ringbarrow (KD023-044----) lies c. 160m to the NE. A raised, central, circular area (diam. c. 25m, H 2m) is enclosed by a fosse and an external earthen bank (overall diam. 38m). Causeways and gaps at the NNE and S are possibly modern, and there is some disturbance to the interior, upon which whins are starting to establish. (O'Riordáin 1950, 276: Site X; scaled section E-W Plate XXVII)
