The National Monuments Service's description
A circular area enclosed by a very shallow fosse, with faint traces of an external bank (overall diam. c. 40m). A very distinct cropmark of a fosse is visible on aerial photographs (GSI N 340, 341), but these show no causeway or entrance feature. (O'Riordáin 1950, 276: Site A1; scaled section N-S Plate XXVII)
