In 2005, a fulacht fia pit (L 1.8m N-S; Wth 1.25m; D 0.48m) was discovered and archaeologically excavated (Licence no. 04E0233 ext.) in advance of a large commercial development in 'Field 2' at Grey Abbey (KD022-029006-). It was infilled with three deposits of burnt sandstone in a charcoal matrix. (Dennehy E. 2008, No. 757, 184-5)
