The National Monuments Service's description
While investigating the discovery of a burial (KD022-026----) found during road widening in October 1953, Lucas (OPW Topographical files, 1953; SMR file) was informed that, nearby to the E, an apparently similar burial had been discovered several months previously. It had been greatly disturbed by the bulldozer, and no further information was available.
