The National Monuments Service's description

On the summit of Dunmurry Hill (OD 796 feet) within a hillfort (KD022-001001-). A small poorly preserved, sub-circular area (int. diams. 6.3m NE-SW; 5m NW-SE; ext. diams. 27.7m NW-SE; 22.4m NE-SW) is defined by a low, broad, grassed-over stoney bank (Wth 7.8m at NE-13.4m at NW; int H 0.3-0.6m; ext H 0.9-1.5m). A concrete Trigonometrical Station erected on the bank at NW is used as a scratching post and is heavily poached around the base. The monument is hachured as a raised area/mound on the 1st ed. (1838) of the OS 6-inch map, and it is possible that it is the remains of a partially robbed-out cairn. A second possible cairn (KD022-001003-) lies 8m to the NE.
