The National Monuments Service's description
Leaning against the inner face of the N wall of the nave, at a blocked up medieval doorway, at Kilteel church (KD020-007002-). A large granite slab (dims. L 1.48m; min. end-Wth 0.28m; max. end-Wth 0.44m; mid-point Wth 0.57m; T 0.18m) has rounded corners and a convex surface decorated with an abstract motif resembling a cross; iconography that would fit within the canon of motifs for the cross-slab tradition. It may be of Viking or pre-Viking date. (Manning 1982, 183-4, 189, 222; Healy 2009, 92)
