The National Monuments Service's description
According to Bradley et al. (1986 vol. 4, 364-5), a rectangular sandstone slab, in two pieces (dims. L 2.1m; Wth 0.98m), set into the floor of the central aisle of St. David's Church (KD019-030020-) is decorated in low, false relief with a marginal inscription in Roman capitals and an achievement of arms. It commemorates Joshua Carpenter, 1665.
