The National Monuments Service's description
A plain, square, limestone font (dims. L 0.51m; Wth 0.51m; H. 0.39m) with a circular, straight-sided basin (diam. 0.42m; D 0.27m) lies outside the N door of St John's Church. It is a possibly 16th century in date. (Bradley et al 1986 vol. 3, 298)
