The National Monuments Service's description
According to Bradley et al (1986 vol. 3, 298), an inquisition of the holdings of Thomas Hamlin, who died in 1629, records that he held a castle, six messuages and one hundred and twenty acres in the vill of Kill. The precise location of the castle, possibly a tower house, is not known.
