The National Monuments Service's description
Marked on the 1st ed. (1838) of the OS 6-inch map as a small circular area (est. max. diam. c. 25m) defined by a bank. Described in 1986 as only surviving as a cropmark of weeds in a hay-field (SMR file). On level improved pasture at the N edge of a large tract of bog. The area is now used as a garden centre and, while the site is overlain by plastic tunnels, sub-surface deposits may survive intact.
