The National Monuments Service's description
Fitzgerald (1907, 160) identifies an area as 'St. Brigid's well field', but gives no precise location for the well within the field. Jackson (1979-80, 157) quotes a local tradition which describes 'St. Brigid's Well' as being surrounded by a paling, with religious emblems, and which was known for its cures. In an area of level pasture. The exact location of this monument is unknown.
