The National Monuments Service's description
Recorded on the Down Survey (1655-6) and named 'Prinetonne Castle'. May have been in the vicinity of Painestown House, a small, heavily rendered, two-storied, possible 19th century house with a small, single-storied extension on the W side, standing in level pasture, drained by the N-flowing, Painestown River immediately to the W. The precise location of the monument is unknown.
