The National Monuments Service's description
On level pasture at the foot of the low scarp which marks the SE limits of the bailey of Mainham motte and bailey (KD014-007001-). A small, circular area (diam. 4m) is defined by a broad band (Wth 3m) of lush, green grass, perhaps marking the line of an infilled fosse.
