The National Monuments Service's description
According to the OSL (Herity 2002, 45), 'There is no tradition among the people that there ever existed a church there, but on examining the ground … something like three ridges or rises in the ground are to be seen, at right angles, forming as it were three sides of an oblong, (and long enough to be considered the site of the walls of a church) from which perhaps, we may infer that a religious edifice stood there.' Confusingly, perhaps, the 1st ed. (1838) of the OS 6-inch map shows a rectangular building orientated NW-SE (dims. L c. 20m; Wth c. 8m) and named 'Church'. In a graveyard (KD013-023002-). No visible surface trace of the church survives. A Holy Bush (KD018-008----) stood immediately to the S.
