The National Monuments Service's description
A large, fairly poorly preserved, D-shaped area (diam. c. 340m E-W) with a straight W side (L c. 280m) is defined by an inner earthen bank (Wth c. 3m; H c. 1m), a fosse (Wth 4m; D 1.5m), and a second, outer earthen bank of similar dimensions to the inner one, NW-N-SE. Only the inner earthen bank survives from SE-S-SW, and the line of the original enclosing element is followed by a modern earthen field bank on the straight W side. This is the main enclosure of the early ecclesiastical site at Lullymore (KD012-006----).
