The National Monuments Service's description

According to the OSL (Herity 2002, 10), 'The old Church of Stacumny has been entirely effaced. … a barn occupies the site of it, at Stacumny House, which belongs to Mr. Murphy. It is said that part of the old walls were used for the erection of the barn. Stacumny is in the Calendar under the name Teach (Toigh) Cuimne'. Archaeological excavation (Licence no. 97E0119: www.excavations.ie) of the barn failed to reveal any evidence of a church, but an extensive medieval graveyard was discovered (KD011-012001-).
