The National Monuments Service's description
In open, gently undulating, mixed tillage and pasture, with a second rath (KD011-009----) c. 60m to the S. Described in 1972 as a circular area (int. diam. 38m) defined by an earthen bank which was almost disappeared at S, and a partly silted-up outer fosse. An entrance was noted at N and the interior sloped slightly down towards the W and contained a large ESB pylon on a concrete base in the SE sector. The monument was revisited in 1985 but no visible surface trace survived (SMR file).
